Javed Hashmi hails Kulbhushan Yadav death sentence

MULTAN: Veteran politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on Tuesday said that Indian spies like Kulbhushan Yadav deserved death sentence because of their anti-Pakistan actvities.

The Indian agents were causing agony and pain to thousands of families in the Balochistan province, Karachi and other parts of Pakistan for which they should be hanged, he said while talking to newsmen here at Ahmadabad Chowk near Chungi No 14.

Hashmi said that Pakistan wanted to live in peace with its neighbours, but no one would be allowed to interfere in its internal affairs.

Hashmi criticized foreign powers for creating a divide among the Muslims. The Ummah should get united to foil such conspiracies and a meeting of Organization of Islamic Cooperation should be convened for the purpose, he added.

He said the entire nation loved the Pakistan armed forces, who were thwarting threats to the country.

Hashmi on the occasion urged the government to take steps for resolve the problems of powerloom workers, who had gathered at the Ahmadabad Chowk to voice their demands.

All Pakistan Powerloom Association President Khaliq Qandeel Ansari and other office bearers demanded the government to announce a relief package for textile and powerloom sectors.

They called for low electricity tariff and provision of gas at subsidized rates to the export-oriented industry. (APP)
