Italian Navy ship docks at Karachi Port

KARACHI: An Italian navy ship reached the shores of Karachi during its goodwill visit on Wednesday, where it was welcomed by Pakistan Navy officials and Italian embassy staff.
According to a Pakistan Navy spokesperson, top officials from the Pakistan Navy and Italian embassy received the ship at the harbour.
The purpose of the visit is to promote mutual collaboration between the naval forces of the two countries, the spokesperson informed.
During their stay in Karachi, the Italian naval officers on board the ship will meet with Pakistan Navy officials and exchange important ideas of mutual interest.
Towards the end of the visit, Pakistan Navy fleet and the Italian navy ship will participate in joint naval exercises in the open sea based on different operations.
