Israel closes border crossings with Gaza

RIYADH - Israel has announced closure of its border crossings at Karm Abu Salem and Erez to Gaza due to security concerns.
Israeli Army Spokesman in a statement said the crossings would not be open in light of the latest developments.
He also said the Israeli army attacked a military base of Hamas in response to alleged rocket attacks earlier from the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian security sources said that Israeli jets fired at three military targets of the al-Qassam Brigades of the Hamas movement.
The Israeli air strikes killed two Hamas gunmen while two other Palestinians were killed in confrontations with Israeli troops during stone-throwing protests along the border.
