ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador calls on PM Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad 
ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador David Hale called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in PM House here at Thursday and discussed bilateral ties between the two  countries.

 

As per details, matters related to regional security situation were also discussed in the meeting. Special Assistant to PM Nawaz Tariq Fatemi was also present at the occasion.

 

Affairs of mutual interest including Pak-US relations also came under discussion in the meeting. Speaking at the occasion, PM Nawaz said that Pakistan is desirous to establish deep relations in economic and other fields.

 

Pakistan is playing an important role in promoting peace and prosperity in Afghanistan while Pakistan is also facilitating Afghan peace process. New targets are being finalized from 6 working groups, PM added.

 

Talking with PM Nawaz, David Hale made it clear that peaceful and stabe Afghanistan is not only in favour of region but also for the entire world. He appreciated Pakistan's efforts in restoring peace in Afghanistan.
