Ishaq Dar to be summoned by Panama Case JIT

ISLAMAABD: The Panama Case Joint Investigation Team probing the Panama Case on the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan is likely to summon the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar after the JIT will submit it's second report in Supreme Court of Pakistan today, private TV Channel has reported.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) tasked by Supreme Court for Panama case after issuance of the formal summon.

JIT will file its second report on June 7 (Wednesday) which will reduce its time frame to merely four weeks before the final call.

The apex court had given 60 days for the investigation team to account the money trail and offshore accounts held by Sharif family.

The visible anxiety can be seen on government representatives as they have raised concerns over the transparency and impartiality over the JIT members, especially after leaked photo of Hussain Nawaz premier’s son, in Judicial Academy under interrogation.

Senior analyst Kamran Khan told the JIT will summon Ishaq Dar in a few days for thorough investigation.
