IOK shutdown extended till October 6: APHC

ISLAMABAD (APP): The joint resistance leadership comprising the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has extended the call for shutdown till October 6.

The protest calendar includes freedom marches, rallies and demonstrations in occupied Kashmir, KMS reported.

The detail of the protest calendar is given below: On Friday, September 30, under occupy Lal Chowk program, from 6 pm on Thursday evening, March one and all from entire Jammu and Kashmir will be held towards Lalchowk in Srinagar.

Vehicles will be parked at Pantha Chowk, Nowgam, Sanat Nagar, Hyderpora, Bemina, Parimpora, Soura & Hazratbal and onward march will be held on foot.

The participants of march will offer Friday prayers on the Batamaloo Dalgate stretch. Resistance leaders, masjid committees, youth volunteers of Srinagar have been asked to coordinate and ensure the arrangements.

The marchers will occupy Assemble & local chowks and centres from Zuhr to Asr prayers in the vicinity of respective mohallas, villages and localities. Protest will be held with flags, placards and banners with freedom messages and slogans.
