International body builders arrival in Pakistan a good omen
ISLAMABAD: International bodybuilders arrival in Pakistan was a good omen for the promotion of bodybuilding in the country.

A ceremony, organized by Islamabad Bodybuilding Association in the honour of American International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) athlete, Kai Greene was held here at Islamabad Club.
Kai has arrived in Pakistan along with five other international 
bodybuilders to promote bodybuilding. 
"It is heartening that international sports' activities are 
returning to Pakistan. We've recently successfully held international wresting and squash events. This is a good sign for the country that now international bodybuilders have also arrived here to showcase their skill," Mayor Islamabad said.
He said soon after assuming the charge, he gave top priority to 
Capital's parks and grounds. 
"The condition of Islamabad's parks and grounds has improved a lot and 
we are making further efforts towards that direction," he said adding that multipurpose grounds were also being built for the youth and children of the capital.
He said the Capital Development Authority had allotted a ground to 
Pakistan Hockey Federation at Sector G-6 for establishing a modern hockey ground adding that astro turf was being laid at that ground.
He said steps were also being taken to make Islamabad one of the most 
beautiful capitals of the world.
Speaking on the occasion Kai, who hails from New York, Brooklyn said 
he wanted to inspire Pakistani athletes and bodybuilders. 
He urged the Pakistani youth to take fitness seriously saying that if 
they would work hard they could excel at the international level.
"I'm glad and excited to be here in Pakistan. I'm sure Pakistani 
youngsters have a lot of talent and during our visit they'll get motivated a lot," he added.
