Interior Ministry rejects media reports on NAP

The Interior Ministry has strongly rejected a news item appearing in a section of media regarding 'implementation report 2016 on National Action Plan (NAP)'.

Terming the news item as completely baseless, the Spokesperson of the Ministry said no such report has been released by the Interior Ministry.
He said such irresponsible reporting not only misleads the public perception but also against the ethics of journalism.

The Spokesman called upon the media to exercise restraint on publishing unverified material on sensitive national security matters.
