ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister for Interior, Chaudry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday said when Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) talks about curbing corruption it is like Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) of India campaigning for rights of the Muslims.
“He screams over Panama Leaks, even though his mother has also been named in papers. Please take your mother’s case in court first,” Nisar said without naming Bilawal Bhutto.”
He was talking to mediapersons after attending a passing out parade of police constables and first batch of Rapid Response Force (RRF) here at Police Lines.
The first batch of 409 cadets passed out including 341 constables, 45 lady constables and 33 drivers.
Ch. Nisar alleged that officials from past PPP government were involved in massive money laundering carried out by Khanani and Kalia.
“The record was destroyed to hide facts,” Nisar alleged, adding that he would be bringing forward important developments in case in next two weeks.
Answering a question, Nisar said it was extremely sad that an `honest’ Sindh Police IG, A.D. Khawaja had been sent on a forced leave by provincial government without any consultation from federal government.
The Minister also spoke about Abbottabad Inquiry Commission and said he would ask the cabinet to reveal findings of the report.
“The Abbottabad raid was the biggest attack on country’s sovereignty in last 69 years,” he said while replying to another question. A final decision over the Abbottabad Commission rests with the Prime Minister.
Answering another question, the Minister said scores of citizens were burnt to death in Karachi’s Baldia factory for money and added the credit should be given to the government for bringing main culprit from Thailand to Pakistan for investigation.
Earlier, addressing passing out parade ceremony, he asked the new recruits to serve the nation, check terrorists from entering Islamabad and establish your control in Capital.
