Indian occupied Kashmir celebrates Eid with Pakistan Flag and pro Pakistan slogans

In Occupied Kashmir, Chairman All Parities Hurriyet Conference Syed Ali Gilani has denounced the puppet administration for placing Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Ayaz Akbar and scores of other pro-freedom leaders and activists under house arrest on the eve of Eid ul Fitr.   

In a statement in Srinagar, he termed the arbitrary arrests and curbs posed in the territory unjustified and said that Muslims community was celebrating Eid in the territory in a gloomy atmosphere.

He called stopping of the Kashmiri leadership from offering religious obligations on the auspicious Eid as blatant interference in religious matters.

Meanwhile, in occupied Kashmir, thousands of people, today, staged anti-India and pro-Pakistan demonstrations and hoisted Pakistani flags and banners in Srinagar, Islamabad, Kulgam, Pampore, Pulwama, Shopian Sopore, Kishtwar and other parts of the territory.

Immediately after Eid prayers people in large numbers took to the streets and shouted high-pitched slogans.

The protesters demanded that Indian troops should leave Jammu and Kashmir without any further delay.

The authorities had placed all Hurriyet leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Mohammad Ashraf Sehraee, Ayaz Akbar, Zafar Akbar Butt, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Showket Ahmad Bakshi under house arrest and in police stations.

The authorities did not even allow them to join congregational Eid-ul-Fitr prayers.

Dozens of people were critically injured after Indian police personnel sued brute force, fired, pellets and teargas shells on protesters.
