Indian mob lynched 7 people to death over fake WhatsApp message

JHARKAND: A mob lynched seven people to death after a fake Whatsapp message regarding child abductions went viral in a village located in the state of Jharkand, Samaa reported.
According to details, a false news regarding kidnapping of children went viral on Whatsapp.
A mob consisting of over 500 people got enraged by the message and lynched seven people to death.
According to police, no kidnapping took place in the village. However, 20 people including the village chief have been taken into custody.
