Indian Deputy High Commissioner J.P. Singh was summoned to Foreign Office on Tuesday to condemn the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the India and occupation forces in Khuiratta and Karela Sectors of Line of Control (LoC).

He was conveyed that despite calls for restraint, India continued to indulge in ceasefire violations with more than 600 violations along the LoC and the Working Boundary.

These resulted in martyrdom of 25 innocent civilians and injuries to 110 others, as compared to 382 ceasefire violations last year.

Pakistan urged the  Indian side to respect the 2003 cease fire agreement and maintain peace on the LoC.
