Indian Cricket Board embarrassing response to PCB over the legal notice

NEW DELHI – Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI has reacted over the notice sent by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has rejected Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) notice regarding the bilateral series.

Clearly closing its eye on the facts, BCCI claimed that no Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding bilateral series was signed between the two boards.

According to the Indian board, formal discussions were held in 2014 regarding a bilateral series but it was conditional to government approval. PCB had sent BCCI a notice of Rs 4.4 billion for not playing the series.

PCB had maintained that out of the six scheduled series between India and Pakistan till 2023, India had already refused to play two, causing serious financial damage to the Pakistani board.
