Indian bookies network in Dubai revealed

DUBAI - It has been revealed that most of the bookies in UAE have come from India, while there is a large network.
The recent approach by Indian bookie to skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is the part of the same network which has become active after the Champions Trophy victory to malign Pakistan cricket image.
The Bookies in UAE have their permanent headquarters in India and Bangladesh, reports have revealed.
“These bookies mostly come from India where they have their headquarters. They also have a large network in Bangladesh.”
Pakistani cricketer Saeed Ajmal while talking to private TV Channel has also exposed the Indian bookies network which has been found involved in this in the past.
“If the players have a clear conscience then no can can allure them towards match fixing,” he said.
He cautioned that players will continue to be approached and receive offers from bookies, particularly younger ones as they are not much aware of these issues.
He said Sarfaraz Ahmed has played his role and maintained the respect and dignity of this nation. He urged all players, in case they receive any offer, should immediately inform the cricket authorities.
