Indian Army sponsored cricket match in occupied Kashmir turns out to be a pro Pakistan event

SRINAGAR – Much to the embarrassment of Indian army and police and other authorities present, the cricket team and spectators who had turned up at a cricket match held in a government stadium in Indian-occupied Kashmir’s central district of Budgam on Sunday chanted pro-Pakistan and pro-freedom slogans.

According to media reports, a section of the crowd at the Indian army-sponsored match held in Budgam stadium began chanting pro-Pakistan slogans and also those in favor of freedom towards the end of the match.

Some senior officials of the Indian police and army and pro-India National Conference leader, Agha Ruhullah, who is also member of the so-called Kashmir Assembly from Badgam, was also present on the occasion.
