ISLAMABAD - In over 1000 ceasefire violations Indian forces have martyred 45 civilians and injured over 100 in 2017 alone, Foreign Office has revealed.

It said Indian troops have frequently resorted to unprovoked firing from across the border along the LoC dividing the disputed Himalayan region of Azad Jammu and Kashmir between Pakistan and India.

The FO said India has violated the ceasefire 1150 times.

A day earlier, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria had said India is bankrolling terrorists outfits in Afghanistan to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan.

“On one side India is financing terrorist organizations in Afghanistan to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan and on the other side it is targeting civilian population along Line of Control and Working Boundary,” he said.
