Indian Army encounter in IOK, 7 years old girl martyred by gunfire

A minor girl from Batpora area of Haihama in Kupwara who was hospitalized on Wednesday morning with bullet wounds succumbed to injuries in a hospital.
The girl either received any injury or suffered heart attack amid raging gunfight in the area was rushed immediately to the hospital for treatment, GNS reported.
However, the girl died hours after she was admitted in the hospital, sources told Kashmir Glory.
Locals alleged that girl received bullet injury fired by the government forces.
The deceased has been identified as Boniza (7) daughter of Khushi Mohammad Chichi.
SSP Kupwara Shemsheer Hussain when contacted by GNS feigned ignorance about the incident.
“We have not received any such report so far”, SSP said.
Earlier, police claimed to have engaged in a gunfight a group of at least two militants at Kund Nar area of Batpora, Haihama.
