India to approach UN for ban on JeM Chief
NEW DELHI: India claimed to approach UN for a ban on JeM Maulana Masood Azhar and to include in the globally designated terrorists.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup said “We will be moving the 1267 Sanctions Committee to also include the name of Masood Azhar on the sanctions list. It is a great anomaly that the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) is listed but not its leader”.

JeM was included in the list of Foreign Terrorist Organization in 2001 by 1267 Sanctions Committee.

Vikas claimed that it will be a biggest diplomatic move.

India will hold a meeting with 1267 Sanctions Committee which consists of 15 members.

India is attempting second time to isolate Pakistan.

The previous move was failed because of China’s opposition.

India claimed that JeM leader is involved in Pathankot terror attacks.

Pakistan has registered an FIR of Pathankot attacks but not arrested any one yet due to the lack of evidence.

A Pakistani intelligence team is also expected to visit the Pathankot air base for investigation.

India claimed that it had provided all the evidences that connect JeM to the Pathankot attack.
