India test fires advanced version of Brahamos cruise missile

NEW DELHI – Indian obsession of military advancements has put the South Asia in risk of a arms race which has taken entire region in its ambit.
India on Wednesday carried out a test-fire of advanced version of its ‘Brahmos’ cruise missile, reported Indian media.
The surface-to-surface cruise missile was fired from a mobile autonomous launcher (MAL) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Indian media claimed that Wednesday’s test was successful as the test flight achieved all set goals and hit its target accurately.
