India can’t suppress freedom sentiments using brute force: Hurriyet

ISLAMABAD: Hurriyet leaders and organistations in Indian occupied Kashmir, expressing grief over death of a youth, Muzaffar Ahmad Mir, have paid glowing tribute to him.
According to Kashmir Media Service, they said that the use of brute force cannot suppress the freedom sentiment of Kashmiri people.
Muzaffar Ahmad was injured in Ganderbal on April 9 after Indian forces opened fire on peaceful demonstrators who were protesting against the holding of sham Indian parliamentary by-elections on that day and succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Srinagar on Wednesday.
The General Secretary of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, addressing a condolence meeting in Srinagar paid rich tributes to Muzaffar Ahmad Mir.
He said that the youth belonged to a family that had rendered unprecedented sacrifices and services during the ongoing freedom movement.
He said that Indian forces were killing youth to satisfy their ego and create an appalling situation in the territory.
A delegation of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-led Hurriyet forum visited the family members of martyr Muzaffar Ahmad Mir at Zangalpora in Kulgam and expressed solidarity with them. The delegation was led by Ghulam Nabi Zaki and included Abdul Salaam Khanday and others.
Paying rich tributes to the martyred youth, the delegation members said that the Indian forces were vested with unbridled powers under black laws that authorized them to kill anybody on mere suspicion.
The leaders said that coercion and the use of brute force could not suppress the Kashmiris' ongoing freedom movement.
On the occasion Mirwaiz Umar Farooq spoke to the bereaved family members on telephone and expressed grief over the brutal killing of Muzaffar Ahmed.
He vowed that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all cost.
A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League comprising Sajjad Ayubi, Dar Sabzar Hijazi, Mohammad Amin and Ghulam Mohammad Dar also visited the house of martyr Muzaffar Ahmad Mir in Kulgam and expressed solidarity with his family members.
Hurriyet leaders including Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Reshi and Ghulam Nabi War in a joint statement in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to Muzaffar Ahmad Mir.
They said that Indian forces had lost all human values and termed martyrdom of Muzaffar Ahmad a cold-blooded murder. (APP)
