Imran Khan lashes out at PM Nawaz Sharif over his derogatory remarks about PTI women

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has lashed out at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over his derogatory remarks about the women in the PTI Jalsa.
Responding to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s alleged remarks against female supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan on Saturday termed the premier’s statement “highly condemnable”.
He said Nawaz Sharif forgot that ‘it was a woman, his wife, who led protest against his arrest when all the male supporters vanished.Addressing a public gathering after inaugurating a gas provision project in Okara on Saturday, the Prime Minister had said: “We have seen what were they [PTI women] doing in yesterday’s rally”.Few minutes later, PTI leader Shireen Mazari demanded that the premier should apologise for his alleged disrespectful remarks against PTI women.
