Imam ul Huq's historic debut performance leads Pakistan to victory

ABU Dhabi – Imam-ul-Haq’s century on debut and five wicket haul by pacer Hasan Ali helped the green shirts secure decisive victory over Sri Lanka in ODI series.

Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the third one-day international in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, taking an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

Paceman Hasan Ali took a career best 5-34 to dismiss Sri Lanka for 208 in 48.2 overs before Imam-ul-Haq scored a debut hundred as Pakistan reached the target with 7.3 overs to spare.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 208 in the third one-day international against Pakistan after winning the toss and choosing to bat in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Skipper Upul Tharanga top-scored with 61 as Sri Lanka lost their last nine wickets for 106 runs. Pakistan paceman Hasan Ali finised with a career best 5-34.

Pakistan lead the five-match series by 3-0
