High level meeting chaired by PM Nawaz Sharif on security scenario in country

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired high level meeting in Islamabad to review the law and order situation in country. Both military and civil leadership expressed their grief over limiting the Rangers Powers in Sindh. As per details, COAS Gen. Raheel, DG ISI Rizwan Akhtar, Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar, Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Sartaj Aziz, NSA Nasir Janjua, Tariq Fatemi and others civil, military officials participated in meeting. The meeting reviewed the Karachi operation and security situation of the country. While addressing the meeting, PM Nawaz said that the achievements of Karachi operation will not be wasted at any cost. The participants of meeting expressed their reservation over limiting the Rangers Powers. The meeting decided that federal government will contact with Sindh Government over the issue of Rangers Powers.
