Govt should complete tenure, PPP wants elections on time: Bilawal

LAHORE: PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the government should complete its tenure and his party wants the elections on time.

Talking to the media after visiting the house of the elderly party worker Hara Sain on in Mozang Monday, he said that perhaps Imran Khan is fearful that he would lose if the elections held on time.

He said that the PPP would get the opportunity in 2018.

The PPP chairman said that the PML-N has totally failed. “I wish that a democratic government should transfer power to another one,” he said.

He also expressed dissatisfaction with the census results. “The government has made the census controversial. Our reservations over delimitation of the constituencies should be removed,” he demanded.

The PPP said that the establishment should have no role in politics. “Pervez Musharraf is a fugitive and he should be brought handcuffed,” he added.

Stringent security arrangements had been made on the occasion.
