Government decides to extend official invitation to PM Modi for Pakistan visit

ISLAMABAD: Government has decided to extend official invitation to Indian PM Narendra Modi for Pakistan visit. If the invitation is accepted by PM Modi then he will visit Pakistan in November.

 

According to the diplomatic sources, Foreign office on the directives of PM Nawaz decided to give formal invitation to PM Modi for the visit of Pakistan. Advisor to PM Nawaz on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz will hand over written invitation to his Indian counterpart in Nepal.

 

Diplomatic sources further added that the 19th SAARC summit will be held in Islamabad in November and if PM Modi accepts invitation then he will be coming to Pakistan in November to attend SAARC summit.

 

Sartaj Aziz is participating in SAARC Foreign Ministerial conference which is going to be held in Pokhara Nepal city on March 17 in which the agenda of SAARC conference will be discussed by the participants.
