Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly passes four resolutions

Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly (GBLA) unanimously passed four resolutions.

In the first resolution it was demanded Skardu airport after the name of famous Mountaineer late Hassan Sadpara.

 

In the Second resolution, the Assembly condemned un-provoked shelling of Indian troops across the line of control and expressed solidarity with the families of those civilian killed by the Indian troops firing.

 

The house also demanded to give self-determination to the Kashmiris in Indian held Kashmir and addressed the issue in accordance with UNO Resolution.

 

In the third resolution the house demanded appointment of Auditor general of Gilgit Baltistan.

EU parliament in Brussels echoes with Kashmir dispute resolution

In the final resolution, Legislative Assembly demanded election of local bodies in next year.

 

Later, the Speaker adjourned the session tomorrow morning.
