General (R) Raheel Sharif is an Advisor and not Military Commander: Pakistan government

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Advisor Sartaj Aziz while responding to a motion regarding Terms of References of the Riyadh-based Military alliance and its impact on Pakistan, the advisor on foreign affairs said that the forty-one member Islamic military counter terrorism alliance has not yet been finalized.
He said the TORs will be finalized through a consultative mechanism of the member countries at the Defence Ministers level.
He said as soon as the TORs will be finalized and received these will be placed before the Parliament.
He said the recently retired Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, who is heading the alliance, is presently performing advisory role and not heading any troops.
Taking part in the discussion, the members said that Pakistan will not get dictation from any Country in the matters of its internal security. They said that all possible steps should be taken to insure peace and security in the country.
They said that our foreign policy should be based on having good relations with all the countries particularly the Islamic nations.
