France Defense Secretary calls on Army Chief in GHQ

RAWALPINDI: French Defense and National Security Secretary Gen. Lois Gtayor called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif in GHQ, Rawalpindi here at Friday.
As per details, matters related to mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. Both dignitaries also exchanged views on defense cooperation between Pakistan and France.
Both also agreed to enhance defense cooperation between two countries. According to ISPR, affairs related to regional security situation also came under discussion in the meeting.
French Defense Secretary appreciated the efforts of Pakistan to promote peace in the region while he also paid tribute to the martyrs who lost their lives in the fight against terrorism.
