Four major generals of Pakistan army promoted to next ranks

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army on Wednesday notified promotions of four Major Generals to the rank of Lieutenant Generals.
In a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), those who have been promoted to the next rank include: Major General Majid Ehsan, Major General Amir Abbasi, Major General Abdullah Dogar and Major General Mahmood-uz-Zaman.
Major General Abdullah Dogar has also been appointed as the Corps Commander Multan, while Maj-Gen Majid Ehsan has taken charge as the president of the National Defence University (NDU).
