Former CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry says disqualified person cannot come to parliament

KARACHI – Former CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry has said that a disqualified person cannot come to the parliament despite the approval of the Electoral Reforms Bill.
Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that Article 63 of the Constitution is very important.
Earlier PML-N had passed the legislation in which it removed the bar upon the disqualified persons to become the party head paving the way back for Nawaz Sharif return to political party leadership.
Ahsan Bhon said that Nawaz Sharif will not benefit from this amendment.
