NEW YORK: Pakistan’s Ambassador at UN Maleeha Lodhi urged for comprehensive planning to prevent violent extremism throughout the world.
She claimed that injustice, backwardness and economic deprivation are the causes of extremism.
She also claimed that external factors are the main reason of promoting extremism and terrorism in the world.
She claimed that eight out of twenty points of National Action Plan in Pakistan are related to eradication of extremism.
She was addressing at UN General Assembly in New York about strategy for prevention of violent extremism.
