FIA recommends FIR against Chairman SECP for record tempering in favour of Sharif family

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted it's enquiry report against the Chairman of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Zafar Hejazi for record tempering in affairs related to Sharif family in Panama case JIT.
Federal Investigation Agency team has found the chairman of the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) guilty of tampering records of the companies owned by the Sharif family, and recommended registration of an FIR against him.
On June 19, a three-judge bench of the Supreme Court – headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan – had directed the FIA director general to launch an inquiry into the allegations by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) that the SECP had tampered with the records of the Sharifs’ companies.
