FIA arrests cyber crime gang from Lahore

LAHORE: (APP) A team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wendesday arrested six people involved in activating SIMs illegally against names of different people of locality on the pretext to register them in the BISP.
According to FIA spokesman, the team conducted a raid in Chakera, Marzipura Faisalabad and arrest the accused besides recovering 250 active/non-active SIMs, 20 mobile phones, BISP fake identity card and fake registration forms and three biometric devices.
The accused have been identified as Tauqeer Alam, Muhammad Waqas, Azhar Ali, Ali Raza, Muhammad Imdad Shah and Ali Raza Arshid.
A case has been registered against the accused.
