Farooq Sattar snubs Altaf Hussain statement about August 14

In a press conference in Karachi the MQM-P chief Farooq Sattar has condemned the Altaf Hussain statement regarding observing August 14 as Black Day.
He said that the party held flag-hoisting ceremonies at 400 different locations across the city.
He said that the community’s patriotism should not be put into question as Independence Day celebrations are evident of their defiance to Altaf Hussain’s call.
“The Urdu speaking community has boycotted the calls of observing black day on 14th August by London based MQM leader.”
Sattar asserted his party workers and supporters took part in the independence celebrations with great zeal across the province.
