Fake cases pleading in accountability courts against Ex-PM: Mushahidullah

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Minister for Climate Change Senator Mushahidullah Khan on Tuesday claimed that fake cases were pleading in accountability courts against former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

 

Many false cases were registered against Nawaz Sharif in regime of former President Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharaf, he said talking to a private news channel.

 

He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had cooperated with Joint Investigation Team (JIT) despite reservations of on its investigations process. Nawaz Sharif was disqualified on having an Iqama but not corruption charges.

 

The minister said Nawaz Sharif had decided to face the cases after the consultations of his party leaders and he appeared in accountability court today.

 

He said still no allegation of corruption was proved against Nawaz Sharif.

 

He said Ex-Prime Minister was the most popular leader of the country and he was still head of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

 

Mushahidullah said the PML-N government had launched many development projects across the country without any discrimination and Nawaz Sharif had moved the country on the path of development.
