Extremist Hindus attack Indian Muslim boys on suspicion of cow slaughter

Three Indian Muslims who allegedly indulged in illegal cow slaughter were attacked by a group of five hindu extremists men on Saturday night at Phajir in Konaje police limits.
While one of the victims sustained serious injuries, the others received minor injuries.
The victims were allegedly in the process of slaughtering two cows in a shed attached to a house in Phajir village when the attack took place.
Meanwhile, the Konaje police arrested the five assailants and gave their names as Shan Kumar, Mohan, Hariprasad, Purandar and Sachin, all from Phajir.
Konaje police have registered two cases, one for illegal cow slaughter against the victims, and the other against the five assailants for the assault.The assailants are being produced before the jurisdictional magistrate.
