QUETTA: (APP) Two staffers of Model Customs died while another suffered gunshot wounds as unknown armed men opened fire at their official vehicle in Mastung area, on Monday night.

Police said staffers of Model Customs riding a vehicle were on their way in Mastung area when their vehicle was attacked by unknown armed men in Shamsabad area of Mastung district, leaving two staffers dead and another injured.

The law enforcement agencies rushed to the scene and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. The dead were identified as Naseer Ahmed Jamali and Iftikhar Ahmed. The injured was recognized as Saeed Nawaz. According to doctors, condition of the injured was serious.
The law enforcement personnel have cordoned off the entire area. A search operation has also been launched to trace out the suspects. Further probe is underway.
