CTD Punjab kills 7 hardcore terrorists in encounter

SHEIKHUPURA, July 31 (APP): Seven alleged terrorists
were killed in an encounter with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD)
in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to CTD sources, on a tip-off that ten terrorists
were roaming near Pahrianwala, in the jurisdiction of Bhikhi
police station, a team of CTD raided there and chased the
suspects. Seeing the raiding team, the outlaws opened fire
which was retaliated by the personnel of the department.
As a result, seven terrorists received fatal bullet injuries
and died on the spot while their three accomplices managed to escape.
The CTD raiding team recovered 5 kg explosive material,
3 motorcycles, 3 klashnikovs, 2 hand grenades, 4 pistols and
thousands of bullets from the spot.
The alleged terrorsts belonged to banned organizations
from south Punjab and their ages were between 20 to 25 years,
sources added.
