Cracks surface in Bhutto legacy as Benazir daughters go open against father Zardari

KARACHI: The first signs of open cracks and rebellion surfaces in the Benazir Bhutto Pakistan People's Party as daughters have openly raised voice against the decision of their father and ex president Asif Zardari.

Bakhtawar and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, sisters of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, have strongly reacted over Irfanullah Marwat’s joining of the party.

In her response to the tweet by Salma Jafar, Bakhtawar Bhutto said, “Sick man should be rotting in a jail cell somewhere not coming anywhere near PPP.”

She added party that was led by a woman will not tolerate such people.


Aseefa, also tweeted, “Mr Irfanullah Marwat should not be in PPP as core value of the party is respect for women. His repulsive and illegal actions are reprehensible.

She also retweeted Bakhtawar Bhutto’s reply to Salma Jafar.

Irfanullah Khan Marwat who quitted Pakistan Muslim League (N) joined PPP on Friday.
