CPEC: RAW allocated $500 million for sabotage in Balochistan

LAHORE: The Standing Committee on Interior in Senate has passed a resolution to condemn the recent incidents of killings in Balochistan.

Two police officers and at least 15 others have been killed in the recent spate of terrorism in Balochistan.

India’s intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), is involved in spreading terror activities in Balochistan, the resolution said.

It further stated that India had set aside $500 million to sabotage China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The resolution urged the government to take the issue of India’s involvement in terror activities in Balochistan with the United Nations (UN).

The committee was also briefed about the situation created in Islamabad due to the ongoing protest of religious parties at the Faizabad Interchange.

Criticizing government for not taking adequate steps to refrain protesters from creating unrest, Senator Rehman Malik said protest is a right of every citizen but creating trouble for public is crime.
