CPEC: Pakistan Railways to be protected with state of the art sensor security system

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Railways is introducing state of the art modern sensor based security system to protect trains from terrorism incidents.
According to Pakistan Railway Spokesman, Train Approaching Warning System at all level crossings and Train Collision Avoiding System in locomotives are being installed on experimental basis across the country.
The spokesman said sensors will be installed along both sides of the rail at three kilometers of every level crossing which will be operated through solar energy for continuous operation.
He said that five wireless model systems would be installed by the first week of December this year.
He said this system would help in protecting the trains from any accident and lives of passengers could be saved.
