Complete shutdown in occupied Kashmir against human rights violations

SRINAGAR - A complete shutdown is being observed in Kashmir today on the call of Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the human rights violations.
All shops and other commercial establishments are closed while transport is off the roads.
JRL has called for a shutdown and blackout on December 10 in view of International Human Rights Day.
“On Dec 10, the International Human Rights Day, Kashmiris will observe a complete shutdown and blackout against gross human rights violations in the Kashmir valley,” JRL said, in a statement.
They said that a protest rally will also be taken out from Lal Chowk towards the UN Observers’ Office at Sonwar and “instructed the people to join peaceful march.”
