Chinese Consul General highlights CPEC importance for regional prosperity

MULTAN: (APP) Chinese Consul General Long Dingbin on Wednesday said China attached great importance to Pak-China friendly relationships.
He said this while holding a meeting with Commissioner Bilal Butt here on Wednesday.
He said China always stood with Pakistan in all times and the recent investment in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would surely bring about prosperity in the region.
Commissioner Bilal Butt said the CPEC would prove game changer and will create a large number of job opportunities for Pakistanis.
He informed the Chinese diplomat about popular mango fruit, adding the CPEC would also boost the tourism sector in the country.
The commissioner hoped that Pak-China friendship would further strengthen with the passage of time.
Additional Commissioner Coordination Sarfaraz Ahmed and Assistant Commissioner Tanvir Iqbal were also present.
