China's rising role in International Politics

ISLAMABAD: China has called for the peaceful resolution of rising tension on the Korean Peninsula.
According to reports, the call was made by Chinese President Xi Jinping, in his telephonic conversation with United States President Donald Trump on Wednesday.
He said denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula should be achieved through peaceful means, both leaders also discussed the Syrian situation and observed that the use of chemical weapons is unacceptable in that country.
