China warns US over trade war

China has warned that there is no winner in a trade war after US President Trump's chief strategist called for a tougher stance towards Beijing.
In a statement on Thursday, Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman, Hua Chunying said both sides have benefited from trade.
Hua Chunying appealed for dialogue to preserve the sound and steady growth of China-US relations.
Earlier, in published comments, Trump's chief strategist Steve Bannon, said the United States is in an economic war with China.
