China tests state of the art first

QINGDAO: Train carriages in the sky are a common sight in the Chinese city of Qingdao from the province Shandong as China tested its first ‘sky train’ on Thursday.

According to a popular Chinese news website, engineers claim that the sky train ‘can perform nearly three times better than normal subway trains, and can ascend gradients of 100 meters over a distance of 1000 meters.’
