China to invest in Hydel power generation in KP

ISLAMABAD: (APP) A Chinese firm, Sino Hydro Company has agreed to invest in hydel power generation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak talking to Radio Pakistan informed, the project would later be extended to other areas of the province.
Meanwhile, he said the China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a vital project for the entire region.
He said the province offers huge investment opportunities in hydel power generation, solar energy, minerals, oil & gas and infrastructure development.
He thanked the Chinese company for taking keen interest in investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
