China deploys fighter jets at the disputed South China Sea Islands
BEIJING: US claimed that China has deployed Shenyang J-11 and Xian JH-7 fighter jets at the disputed island in South China Sea.

US Navy Captain Darryn James confirmed the report.

He said “We are still concerned that the Chinese continue to put advanced arms systems on this disputed territory.”

Pentagon spokesman said “The specifics of recent deployment of fighter aircraft to Woody Island would be less an issue than the signal it sends of how far out of step China’s actions are with the aspirations of the region.”

China has recently confirmed the deployment of weapons on the woody island.

China has deployed long range advanced surface-to-air missiles on the island.

China claimed that it can take measures to protect its sovereignty and its legal entity according to the  international law.

Parcel chain in South China Sea is controlled by China but Taiwan and Vietnam also claimed it.

China also claims more than $5 trillion global trade passes through the sea every year.

China has territorial disputes with Brunei, Philippines and Malaysia.

China is also building 7 man made islands in the disputed sea.

The international community condemned the act and called it a militarization of the South China Sea.
