Chemical agents used by Indian Army in occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: It has been reliably learnt and reported in the Occupied Kashmir media service that Indian Army has resorted to use of some sort of chemical agents against the protesting Kashmiris.
Pakistan expressed concern over the Indian forces’ use of ammunition containing chemical agents to kill Kashmiris and destroy their properties in the disputed region.
“If use of chemicals in the ammunition is confirmed, then it would constitute a serious violation of international norms and India’s international obligations under Chemical Weapons Convention,” Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Nafees Zakariya told journalists during a weekly press briefing in Islamabad.
The FO spokesperson called upon the international community, particularly relevant international organisations to look into such reports. “Charred bodies of Kashmiri youth were found in the debris of five houses destroyed by Indian forces at Bahmnoo and Kakpora in Pulwama,” he said, adding the bodies were extensively burnt and beyond visual recognition.
Speaking about recent terror incidents across the country, Zakariya said the nation celebrated Eidul Fitr with mixed feelings due to the tragic incidents in Parachinar, Quetta, Karachi and Ahmedpur. “We condemn terrorism and those who perpetrate, finance and support terrorists,” he said offering condolences and prayers for victims, bereaved families and the injured.
The spokesperson went on to highlight ‘significant activities’ on the foreign policy front, which included Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Tajikistan and other high-level visits.
