Chaos in National Assembly as Imran Khan barred from speech
ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly session is being held in Islamabad today. This is the first session of the National Assembly after the announcement of the Panama case decision and all major political parties heads took part in the session.

The session of National Assembly Thursday remained marred with chaos as Opposition parties raised slogans demanding Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign from his office.

Tearing apart the copies of the agenda, the opposition staged a walkout in protest as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was not allowed to speak on the floor of the house by Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi.

In the beginning, Azam Swati and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq gave their reaction to the ruling of Panamagate scandal case given by Supreme Court yesterday.

Later, Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah was allowed the time on mike. However, he completed his short talk and prayed to the chair to allow Imran Khan to speak. However, Khan was denied the time. This triggered the protest.

The members from the Opposition benches surrounded the speaker dais and tore the agenda copies. Later, they walked out of the house.

In Senate also, the same situation was witnessed. Aitezaz Ahsan said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should acknowledge that he is disqualified.
